Music, chalk sculpture, caricature, magic are among his versatile talents, and he is also an accomplished computer graphics expert.

Besides being trained in the martial arts of Bengal, Dibyendu is trained in contemporary dance and jazz from Nana Gleason, and in Thang ta, the martial art of Manipur from Ranjeet Chingtham, contemporary dance from Jan Pusch of Germany. He is adept in improvisatory techniques and specializes in rope malkhamb, an adaptation of aerial ballet.

The principal dancer of the group he stars in all existent productions of Sapphire. 'Post Mortem', a critique on global consumerism focuses on his talents as a soloist. He also has other solos like Purush to his credit, which he performed as parts of performances and lecture demonstrations at India International center, New Delhi and Nehru Center, Mumbai as well as abroad.
