Subhojit was born with a strong and starkly clear sense of rhythm and movement. An agile body developed from his exposure to a variety of dance forms beginning from Indian classical forms like Odissi, Latin forms like salsa along with contemporary dance and jazz.
Growing up to be a fashion enthusiast he works as a stylist, ideator and also a designer in a well-known fashion house. But his first love remained dance and thus his association with Sapphire.
Sapphire gave him the free and individual space to give vent to his artistic inclinations and create without fear, boundaries or risks. Subhojit is now part of the new productions of Sapphire like Rituranga and has performed with the ensemble at prestigious dance festivals in New Delhi, Bangalore, Thiruvananthapuram and Kolkata. He is now one of the prized and senior performers of Sapphire.
